About Us
For over twenty years, the Moscow-based band Tintal has channeled the spirit of Celtic folk, fused with a striking modern sound and new layers of meaning.

For the first time in Russia, Tintal has merged Irish and Scottish tradition with rock sensibilities, creating a unique signature style.

The band is made up of professional musicians, graduates of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music and the Moscow Conservatory. Fyodor Voskresensky, Tintal’s frontman, is also the founder of the biggest Celtic festivals in Russia, Saint Patrick’s Day and Samhain, as well as the iconic compere of the Wild Mint music festival.

The band has three studio albums under its belt alongside collaborations with the rock star Alexander F. Sklyar (Va-Bank) and folk diva Inna Zhelannaya. Regularly selling out Moscow’s largest concert venues (Adrenaline Stadium, Glavсlub Green Concert, Izvestiya Hall), Tintal was on the bill of the Wild Mint and Nashestvie festivals and featured at the MTV Europe Music Awards and TEFI Russian National TV Awards.

Tintal’s music is as multicoloured as kilt patterns, as wild as the redheaded beauties dancing to the sound of the bagpipes, as striking as the tart, peaty taste of golden-hued whisky. Overflowing with unshackled energy, every performance is a revelation.

Today, Tintal is the most successful Celtic band in Russia; you can hardly imagine a folk festival line-up without them.
